Guatemala can be reached by air, land and sea.

Guatemala´s newly remodelled international airport, La Aurora, is located 6 kilometers
south of Guatemala City and 25 kilometers to Antigua.

La Aurora International Airport holds the third position in Central America in passenger traffic. Airlines flying into Guatemala are Spirit Airlines, Taca, United Airlines, Mexicana, Iberia, Continental airlines, Delta Airlines, Copa Airlines, American Airlinesand Cubana de Aviación.

 

Four car rental companies operate out of La Aurora: Avis, Budget, Hertz and National

At the airport you can catch a taxi, private shuttle, rent a car or take a bus to Antigua. Depending on your chosen transport and traffic, you should get to Antigua in 30 to 45 minutes.
